- On-demand education will be automatically added to all registered DC profiles by March 13th for access from March 14th – March 24th at midnight.
- DCs can also get up to 2 self-reported hours for visiting with exhibitors.

“Top 10 Reasons You Are Fatigued” with Dr. Cindy Howard

Fatigue is a common symptom that most patients have reported at some time during their life. There are some obvious reasons that patients are tired such as anemia, lack of sleep or experiencing hypothyroidism. There are however some less obvious reasons as well that are commonly missed. Being thorough in our history and collecting enough data will reveal other areas in which patients may be suffering and yet may not get the attention or treatment needed to resolve their fatigue. In this program, we will explore ten areas that we should consider to bring back the energy we all want to have.

This is a case-based lecture pulling from cases read for chiropractors across the nation. We will review a wide range of pathology from sports injury, arthritis, infection and neoplasm, all of which have come through practicing Chiropractors’ doors. Cindy Howard, DC
"Top 10 Reasons You Are Fatigued"
Dr. Cindy M. Howard is a Board Certified Chiropractic Internist and Nutritionist in private practice, the owner of Innovative Health & Wellness Center in Orland Park, Illinois, and a licensed professional in Florida. She owns DC Consulting, assisting private practices in improving their communication skills and improving patient adherence while building a better functional medicine and nutritional practice.
For the last 13 years she has served as the Illinois delegate for the American Chiropractic Association and as the alternate for 6 years prior to that. She was the ACA recipient of the Flynn/Lynch award in 2015 for outstanding service. She serves on the board of Inguardia Health since the inception all while providing medical support during the creation and production of the first oral device being brought to market to measure health metrics.
She also serves on the medical advisory board for Fullscript, the Chiropractic Defense Council, and the Functional Medicine University. Dr. Howard is an associate editor of The Original Internist and a regular contributor for Chiropractic Economics and the Illinois Chiropractic Society online newsletter. She is a past president of the ACA Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders and currently serves as the Vice President of the College of Pharmacology and Toxicology. In 2020 Dr. Cindy Howard was awarded the Chiropractor of the Year from the Illinois Chiropractic Society.
Her first book, Positively Altered: Finding Happiness in the Bottom of a Chemo Bag, has been available on Amazon since September of 2023.
Raphael Castro, DC
"Taping and Myofacial Cupping"
Dr. Castro, aka The Lifting Doc, is a sports chiropractor out of New York. He received both his master’s of sports injury management/rehabilitation and his doctorate of chiropractic from Life University. Dr. Castro practices in upstate NY where his office is limited to the treatment of athletes and active individuals. The majority of clients he treats come from various weightlifting backgrounds followed by endurance athletes. Dr. Castro is still an active competitive powerlifter and heavily involved in the powerlifting and CrossFit communities.
Jennifer Pedley, MS, DC, CCSP®, DACBR
"Cervical & Lumbar Spine: For the Chiropractic Clinician" & "Lower Extremities: Case Study Approach"
Jennifer Pedley resides in Redlands, California. She achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-medicine and in Exercise and Sport Science at University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. Her doctorate degree in chiropractic was obtained at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jennifer moved to Rochester, New York where she owned and sold her chiropractic practice followed by a move to Chicago, Illinois where Dr. Pedley treated patients at an occupational medical facility. Next, she was accepted into the radiology residency at National University of Health Sciences where she completed the radiology residency and successfully passed American Chiropractic Board of Radiology examination. During the residency, she achieved a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in diagnostic imaging, a diplomate as a board certified chiropractic radiologist and a Certified Chiropractic Sport Physician (C.C.S.P)®. Following the residency, Jennifer also attended a visiting radiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
In Redlands, California, Jennifer has a private radiology consulting practice for MR imaging centers, and for medical and chiropractic doctors. She is also the Past president of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology (ACCR), and a radiology lecturer.
Donna Hedgepeth, DC, DACCP
"Pediatric Torticollis"
Dr. Hedgepeth, DC, DACCP is a chiropractor with a diplomate specialty in pregnancy and pediatric care. She has practiced in Raleigh since 2001 using a variety of techniques to help keep young ones and their parents well cared for in body and mind. In addition to the diplomate, she holds certifications in Webster Technique, Cranioscral work, NIMMO and Acupuncture, among others.
Lindsay Mumma, DC, DNSP

Lindsay Mumma, DC, DNSP, is the owner of Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC, a multidisciplinary practice she opened in 2012 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic with the Clinical Excellence Award. She teaches for the Motion Palpation Institute and moveMentors. Her private practice focuses on rehabilitative chiropractic care across the lifespan and with a specific focus on prenatal and postpartum health. She is a wife, mother to two boys, speaker, life enthusiast, and author of The Trimester Series, the best-selling book Your Pelvic Floor Sucks, and the Top 50 in Health Substack publication Dr. Lindsay Mumma’s Newsletter.

Elizabeth Nieland

Elizabeth Nieland has been a Chiropractic Assistant since 2004. She has been active in all positions within a high-volume practice in Wilkesboro, NC with her husband Dr. James Nieland where she has developed the skills and background needed to build a successful practice. During that time, she expanded her knowledge beyond Chiropractic and worked with companies like Novant Health to learn the dynamic of Medical & Hospital Practice Management.
She has continued her passion for the Chiropractic Profession and shared her skills and expertise throughout the United States during her time as the Director of Quality Improvement for SIDECAR, LLC Billing Services and as a consultant for many Chiropractic Software Companies. She is currently an Advisor for SIDECAR, LLC on their Billing Advisory Board and an active participant with the NCCA.
